The Ngage Assessment Toolkit and Training Package

Supports any member of your staff to safely and effectively engage young people to discuss their issues and needs.

The Ngage assessment toolkit is a simple to use, intuitive way to engage young people in full assessments, using young people endorsed pictorial cues to identify key issues in their lives. Extensively developed and piloted across all main agencies and with hundreds of vulnerable young people, it enables non-specialist workers, with one day training, to elicit accurate information on a whole range of risks; drugs and alcohol; sexual and emotional health; work and learning; mental health and wellbeing; offending; exploitation and more in a safe, client-centred way. Suitable for children and young people of 10 to 19yrs it has been so successfully received that it is now part of the core training programme for the Nottingham City young people's workforce.

We are now able to offer Ngage training and toolkits to you in a number of ways, from individual training places in our Nottingham programme to training in your area or train the trainer licenses to roll out the toolkit and training in your area. The Ngage toolkit is designed to assist a wide range of assessments including the CAF, social care and education/safeguarding applications.
